Church Council And Committees

Listed below are the Church Council, ministry areas and committees at Trinity, including information about the purpose, chairperson and usual meeting times of each committee. If you'd like more information or have any questions about joining any committee, please contact the committee's chair or the church office.

Church Council
The Church Council provides leadership and direction for Trinity. Representatives are elected to the Church Council at the Annual Meeting. The 2010 Church Council members and the ministries they represent are:

Ministry Area Coordinator: Carol Anderson

Worship Committee
Assists the Pastor and Music Director to develop meaningful worship services for the congregation.
Chair: Rich Weber
Meets: Usually monthly, on a Tuesday


Ministry Area: Education & Youth
Ministry Area Coordinator: None currently

Scholarship Committee
Evaluates applications for scholarships given to active members pursuing post-secondary education.
Chair: Mike Reimer

Youth and Education Committee
Works with Debby Klein, Trinity’s Youth and Family Ministry Director, to develop and coordinate activities for the youth at Trinity, as well as our educational program.
Chair: Brant Anderson
Meets: As needed


Ministry Area: Fellowship
Ministry Area Coordinators: Marty and Lisa Moser
Coordinates the
Time and Talents surveys of Trinity's members.

Fellowship Team
Works to create opportunities for members of Trinity and of the community to get together for fellowship.
Chair: Marty Moser
Meets: Occasionally to plan fellowship events.

Helping Hands Committee
The Helping Hands Committee hopes to share our Lord's love by providing meals or rides for congregational members who need them. We take meals to members who have new babies, are sick or injured, have been hospitalized, are returning from rehabilitation, etc. We arrange rides to Sunday worship at Trinity for those who need them. If you would like to prepare or deliver food, or provide a ride to church on Sunday, please call Lisa Moser.
If you are in need of a meal or a ride, please call the church office at 377-0610, and a member of the Helping Hands Committee will be happy to help.

Ministry Area: Stewardship
Ministry Area Coordinator: Dave Klitz

Finance Committee
Assists in the development of the annual budget and ongoing financial needs.
Chair: Rob Butz
Meets: 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7:30pm

Property Committee
Oversees the care, preservation and improvements of the church building and grounds -- a great opportunity for members of Trinity to share their talents as painters, carpenters, electricians, landscapers, etc.
Chair: Ron Sella
Meets: 1st Monday of each month, 7pm

Stewardship Committee
Emphasizes the importance of caring for all God has given us.
Chair: Dennis Schultz
Meets: As needed

Technology Committee
Coordinates solutions to the technological needs of Trinity.
Chair: Kim Viesselmann
Meets: As needed


Ministry Area: Mission/Outreach
Ministry Area Coordinator: Jeanne Mueller

Church & Society Committee
Coordinates activities that reach out to others in the community. Some of the activities include preparing and serving meals to the St. Ben's meal program in Milwaukee in partnership with Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, collecting Christmas gifts to the Lasata Care Center, and various other needs that come to our attention.

E-Team
The E-Team (more formally known as the Evangelism Committee) leads Trinity to extend Christ's hospitality to new members, visitors and all within our community. Outreach is provided through means such as brochures, this website and the Ministers of Hospitality program.

Meets: Usually monthly, based on activities

Endowment Committee
Coordinates the church’s long-term investments, including the endowment and scholarship funds.

Personnel Committee
Sets policies and procedures regarding administration of the staff on behalf of the church.
Chair: Todd Luft
Meets: Usually 1st Tuesday of the month

Staff Support Committee
Serves to support the staff with their needs and also serves as a liaison between staff members, the congregation and Church Council.
Chair: Scott Leppert
