Pastor Erin Coutts
Pastor Erin was called to Trinity Lutheran in the fall of 2023. She grew up in the area and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin after studying English literature and Classics. In college, she was very involved with a campus ministry group, which gave her experience and skills that helped lead her to seminary.
She attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota and received her Master of Divinity in 2018 with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Family Ministry after completing an internship in Austin, Minnesota (the home of Spam!). Pastor Erin first served a congregation in International Falls, Minnesota (the Icebox of the Nation), then moved south to central Wisconsin, where she served as an associate pastor in Waupaca before being called to Trinity.
Trinity is the third congregation Pastor Erin is serving as a pastor, and she is passionate about liturgy, theology, and helping people engage with scripture and faith in our everyday lives.
In her free time, Pastor Erin loves learning and creating. She is an avid reader and podcast listener as well as enjoying crafting, music, baking, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and hiking with friends.
